Mid-Market Sales Director

EveryAction (the nonprofit-focused arm of NGP VAN) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Mid-Market Sales Director.  The EveryAction platform is built by some of the leading experts in the Nonprofit technology space and provides an integrated communication and fundraising platform to nonprofits or all sizes.

Day to Day:

As a Mid-Market Sales Director, you will be based in our DC office and report to EveryAction's Senior Director of Mid-Market Sales. In this role, you will oversee a team of Account Executives and be responsible for leading them to achieve quota. You will oversee the training programs for new hires, ensuring their ability to meet milestones in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest or understanding of the SaaS (software as a service) industry, and more specifically in becoming an expert in the EveryAction Platform
  • A strong understanding of the nonprofit market and how nonprofits work internally
  • Driven to create new relationships outside of our current client network
  • Client focused and highly organized
  • Comfortable using a sales CRM such as Salesforce to track and manage all account and opportunity activity
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills; particularly the ability to craft effective proposals and deliver engaging presentations
  • Proven track record of achieving quota as an individual contributor, with preference given to successfully leading a team of salespeople to achieve quota
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to meet individual goals while supporting and guiding team members to success

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bonus points if you've held a sales or sales management role at a company with technology products
  • Experience working with nonprofits, with demonstrated interest in development and fundraising
  • A passion for problem solving, project management, logistics, best practices, and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to work independently, follow precise team protocols and pay extreme attention to detail
  • Willing to be flexible and adopt within a growing company and changing environmen
  • Previous experience using CRMs such as NGP, Votebuilder, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Convio, Salsa, is a big plus
