Political Marketing and Social Media Strategist

EveryAction (the nonprofit-focused arm of NGP VAN) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Digital Specialist.  The EveryAction platform is built by some of the leading experts in the Nonprofit technology space and provides an integrated communication and fundraising platform to nonprofits or all sizes.

Day to Day: 


As a Political Marketing and Social Media Strategist , you will be based in our DC office. In this role, you will:

  • Manage the NGP VAN marketing program, to include managing an editorial calendar, creating content targeting political and advocacy professions, drafting blog posts, large content offers, landing pages and one-pagers that communicate the value of our products clearly and concisely.
  • Manage and exponentially grow NGP VAN and EveryAction’s s social media presence on various outlets.  
  • Market new features and products related to NGP VAN’s digital, organizing, and fundraising platforms.   
  • Market new features and products related to EveryAction’s digital and advocacy tools.   
  • Prepare applications for industry awards that highlight the company’s continued leadership and innovation.  
  • Work closely with the General Managers, Political Sales Team, and Political Product Managers to support and amplify their work.   
  • Develop strategies to ensure that NGP VAN maintains its leading positions in both the political tech industry and the progressive movement.  
  • Identify opportunities for the work on the NGP VAN brand to support and amplify the EveryAction brand.   
  • Monitor industry news and distribute a weekly internal newsletter profiling the industry.
