NGP VAN / EveryAction is hiring a Vice President of Data Services to lead a team of data engineers in a fast-paced, growing organization focused on delivering best-of-breed software to nonprofit clients. This role is vital to successful engagement and implementation for our expanding client base, specifically with nonprofits of all sizes.
A successful candidate will have a proven track record of conversion, migration and integration work with a broad range of online and offline data, preferably with experience spanning fundraising and digital realms. The ideal candidate will be fluent in the particular needs of the nonprofit market, with the ability to understand the worlds of client programs, CRM, and onboarding. This person will work closely with our other Account Management, Client Support, Sales, and Product Engineering teams specifically on how to best convert, migrate, and integrate data to support new clients adopting our platforms. As the head of the department, this person will also be responsible in the areas of data strategy, implementation and tactics, forecasts, budgets, projections, and performance.
The Vice President of Data Services has many responsibilities – including program, operations and people manager, resource analyst, process driver and subject matter expert on data management and solutions – but your primary focus will be working with a team of 15 data engineers and architects to deliver positive data migration and onboarding experience for our clients as they launch on our product(s). This is an essential role in helping the company scale with our clients while creating processes to gain efficiencies and establish best practices.
