Email Marketing Manager

Do you have experience in email marketing and have a passion to develop digital marketing expertise that is detail-oriented, obsessed with conversion rate optimization, and displays a creative flair and ability to craft great email copies? If you are, then we’d love to speak with you!

EveryAction is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a member of the Marketing & Community team, you will work across both brands, building out a top-notch email marketing program, including growing our email list organically, managing template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends, measure results and optimize lead nurturing workflows, and assisting with product launches. This person should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, including cross functionally with other teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the EveryAction and NGP VAN email lists consistently and organically
  • Design, draft, and publish EveryAction’s weekly community newsletter, maintain an email list of 17k+ subscribers
  • Measure results and optimize landing pages, call-to-actions, and lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers
  • Willingness and interest in attending networking events
  • Experience and interest in engaging in direct outreach to clients and prospective clients through creative email campaigns
  • Segment email lists based on behaviors and website interactions (e.g. content downloads, page visits, etc.)
  • Measure and report on key metrics for each email campaign with the Director of Marketing and key internal stakeholders
  • Expand digital footprint in campaigns that would increase digital presence and awareness for EveryAction for higher digital lead conversion
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to build out broader digital marketing campaigns

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of email and marketing experience required.
  • Strong Email Automation platform experience required.
  • Marketo platform experience a plus.
  • Experience with email personalization and dynamic content insertion.
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale, marketing automation software (from front-end to back-end) and HTML.
  • Basic marketing principles, including online marketing.
  • HTML experience a plus.
  • Test emails and debug layout issues cross-browser/platform.
