Solution Architect (CRM)

EveryAction (the nonprofit-focused arm of NGP VAN) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Solution Architect.  The EveryAction platform is built by some of the leading experts in the Nonprofit technology space and provides an integrated communication and fundraising platform to nonprofits of all sizes.

Day to Day: 

We are looking for a Solution Architect. In this role, you’ll serve as a client-facing technical expert and project consultant for enterprise pre-sale processes, such as performing discovery for integration solutions and providing recommendations for proposed client software systems architecture.  

You will become an expert in EveryAction tools, implementation process, and integration offerings, working closely with sales engineers, product teams, services teams, and the major market sales team.  

You will be a meaningful contributor to our sales team, helping to guide and close opportunities that include integration and more technical requirements. 

Basic qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of design and implementation experience on enterprise integration projects with 1+ years of hands-on experience resolving issues on integrations and data transfers with clients  
  • 1+ years in a consultative role leading technical conversations in partnership with sales 
  • 1+ years architecting multi-system solutions on CRM SaaS environments  

Preferred qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS environments and products 
  • 1+ years of experience in software development utilizing RESTful APIs and ETL processes to integrate customer data, workflows and business rules across products 
  • Ability to advance the sale by building relationships and influencing customer stakeholders including Senior IT staff and engineers 
  • Presentation skills including experience developing and delivering customized presentations, demonstrations, prototypes, and architecture diagrams to prove a solution's business value to technical and business stakeholders. 
  • Experience driving technical discovery and requirements gathering with customers to understanding challenges and business needs. 
  • Ability to collaborate on engineering and solutions calls and to: 
    • develop a strong understanding of our internal stack and how that can be leveraged with current customer solutions through pre-sales, onboarding, and implementation 
    • estimate level of effort for implementation 
    • assess and articulate risks associated with proposed solutions 
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities and delivering recommendations and specifications on time 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and internal stakeholders 
  • A team player who can adapt to a growing company and changing the environment.
