Sales Development Manager

EveryAction is looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a member of the Marketing team, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a robust pipeline of leads and train and develop the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This person should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, including cross functionally with other departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop SDRs into sales-ready candidates for further development within the organization
  • Monitor reporting on defined daily, weekly and monthly metrics to the VP of Sales Marketing and VP of Sales
  • Work closely with a passionate and growing sales team in our Washington, DC office to reach company revenue goals
  • Motivate individuals on the SDR team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and leadership
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Operations to identify, and implement recommendations for improvement in the areas of SDR efficiency, tools and productivity
  • Building internal relationships with key constituents, including Sales, Product, Marketing and Operations teams
  • Work closely with Marketing on defining campaign follow-up and reporting
  • Manage vendor and vendor performance for additional SDR efforts

Skills and Experience:

  • Five plus years of experience in Software Sales or Marketing lead-generation/Sales Development/Business Development Management
  • Consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations
  • Experience with lead qualification and discovery
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience writing sales content that compels prospects to reply as part of multi-touch sequences
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate information effectively to the team
  • Proven track record of developing solutions and driving pipeline
  • Knowledge of nonprofts and an interest in mission-driven organizations
  • Experience with NGP VAN and EveryAction product suite or Salesforce CRM a plus
