Implementation Manager

Are you passionate about helping nonprofits do more good in the world? Do you have a good understanding of how nonprofits use their data and a knack for helping people use technology? 

If so, we’d love to talk to you about joining the EveryAction team. 

We are looking for an Implementation Manager.  As a member of our Accounts team, you'll work with our team of Account Managers and Data Service Specialists to help new clients get their data into our tools.  You'll work with the client directly, to help them understand how to best use their data, and how to best set up our platform to support the great work they do every day.  

Our team isn't just data project managers. They are expert practitioners who make our clients more effective at achieving their social missions.  

The position will work out of our DC office, alongside an experienced team that is already supporting great clients like the Greenpeace, Planned Parenthood, United Nations Foundation, Victory Fund, NAACP, Everytown, Comic Relief, Audubon, Environmental Defense Fund, AFL-CIO, SEIU, NextGen America, and Covenant House International. 

Social mission is at the core of what we do, and we're looking for people who love our clients (and their causes) as much as we do.  

What You’re Good At 

  • You have at least two (2) years of experience working with nonprofits, unions, or political campaigns to use and supporting their data needs. 

  • You are an excellent "data-to-English" translator and have a background in helping non-technical people understand technology. 

  • You have used EveryAction, or other online/offline CRM software, extensively as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. 

  • You are passionate about nonprofit technology and nonprofit data and are willing to network with lots of different orgs that need our help. 

  • You have project management experience and are used to grabbing control of projects and calmly managing them to completion. 

  • You have strong communications skills and experience leading meetings filled with all levels of stakeholders. 

  • You’re detail-oriented, great at following up, and don’t let things slip through the cracks. 

Bonus Points 

  • You have two (2) years of experience working in a client management capacity. 

  • You have experience using Trello, Confluence, and JIRA for project management tasks. 

  • You have an established network in the nonprofit technology world. 

  • You have experience with onboarding organizations to new tools. 

  • You have familiarity with reporting in Excel or have a working understanding of relational databases.
