Outreach Strategist

What you will do:

EveryAction + NGP VAN is looking for a creative, data-driven marketer to join the Marketing team. You will serve as a primary link between marketing, enterprise sales teams, and our community of nonprofits, consultants, agencies, and fundraising experts. As an Outreach Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an account-based marketing (ABM) strategy that generates new prospects, drives pipeline within specific targeted accounts and verticals, and increases site traffic.

This role is extremely important to EveryAction as we continue to expand. You’ll be creating the playbook for using ABM to drive product awareness and demand in specific markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the overall strategy of the account-based marketing programs in close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to create pipeline for pre-defined targeted accounts
  • Create personalized email templates for 1-1 outreach and develop outreach sprints where they will be put to use
  • Build and segment target lists for conferences, events, roundtables, etc. and execute outreach plans that ultimately produce qualified and engaged leads
  • Track, measure, and report bi-weekly outreach results
  • Develop a high level understanding of how to use inbound, content, and outbound marketing to generate more qualified and engaged leads

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • A strong writer with the ability to translate detailed content into impactful go-to market materials including email campaigns and pitch decks
  • Some past experience in marketing and/or nonprofits preferred
  • Comfortable tracking, measuring, and reporting monthly and quarterly business results
  • Experience with targeting and segmentation to build prospect lists for lead gen campaigns
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform decisions
